As Technical Product Manager, you keep the stream focused on outcomes that matter for customers, partners and the business. You take charge of product and technology direction within the stream, and you make sure that what we build is actually used and actually creates value.
You will be the regular technical contact for customers and partners, the person who carries their reality into the stream and carries the stream's direction back out.
This is a bridge role that holds real weight. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with our Product Managers to align product vision, value, and technology in the stream backlog, and you’ll be a full member of the stream. Here, leadership means clarity: every initiative has a clear, measurable, and traceable outcome. The team's autonomy is built on the confidence that they are doing the right thing under the supervision of the Technical Product Manager.
Shape the direction
Set product and technology direction for the stream, giving every initiative a clear target outcome.
Explore new technical possibilities, including through agentic research, and bring concrete options to the team.
Frame hard technical questions, explore options and steer the team toward sound decisions.
Co-own the stream backlog with the PMs. Keep it shaped, prioritized and connected to outcomes, with the customer and partner view always present.
Build and run it
Shape features and write technical specifications, using AI-assisted techniques to turn problems into clear, buildable plans.
Implement features end to end across the relevant layer of the stack, following Magnolia’s development policies and quality standards.
Live the “you build it, you run it, you take charge” mindset as a regular member of the stream.
Run our product solutions together with the platform, cloud, and support teams.
Be the voice of the customer
Act as the technical contact for customers and partners. Understand their context and turn it into product direction.
Handle 3rd-level support topics and communication, sometimes working directly with customers.
Take part in PD on-call duties in an advisory role, with a focus on on-premise installations.
Drive adoption and impact
Track whether features are used and create value, and act when they don’t.
Enable go-to-market, so features reach customers and partners well, including internal enablement and training.
Work across streams and departments, such as support, training, customer success, professional services and cloud, to keep direction and delivery connected.
Collaborate proactively and constructively with your team, your department and the wider company.
